FIRST PERSON ROGUELITE

MythForce is a first-person multiplayer Roguelite inspired by 80's fantasy cartoons.  

​

The game is set in the lands of Eldryth where players can take control of one of 4 heroes. Victoria The Paladin, Rico the Rogue, Maggie the Mage, and Hawkins the Archer.

​

Each hero has their own distinct playstyle and abilities which can be upgraded throughout their adventures. 

​

Players can also upgrade their city and weapons as they progress through the game.

Below is a list of my contributions to the project:

​

  • Key Stakeholder in the game's combat including 3Cs, Weapons, Abilities, and Enemies.

  • Created the Low-Level Design Documents for Multiple Enemy NPCs, Weapons, and Player Abilities with collaborative feedback from the Development team.

  • Refined and Improved Player Abilities and Weapons

  • Integrated and maintained over 30 enemies into the game including the final boss. 

    • Built Animation Montages For Characters

    • Created/Tuned Melee Attack Animation Frame Data

    • Created and Tuned Melee Hit Box Parameters

    • Implemented and Tuned Projectiles and AOEs

    • Implemented Combat SFX/VFX 

    • Enemy AI Behavior and Core Gameplay Loops

    • Implemented Tuning Data Assets and Data Tables

    • Balancing/Tuning

  • Created and populated a Monster Attack and Ability Database which tracked all Enemy Attacks, Damage Types, Status Effects, Hit Reactions, Animations and Montages.

  • Integrated Weapons with collaboration from  Animators, AI Programmers, and VFX/SFX Artists.

    • Balancing/Tuning

  • Developed a Prototype combo system for melee weapons with escalating damage and hit reactions.

  • Designed and Integrated improvements to the Player and NPC counterattack systems.

  • Collaborated with Programmers to develop and improve tools and systems over the development cycle of the project.

  • Collaborated with Levels/Encounters designers to create best practices for combat encounters and enemy compositions.
